Agnes RF for Transformative Precision RF
AGNES RF is a transformative technology that gives physicians the ability to provide in-office solutions without the need for surgery. It is a Precision Radio Frequency (RF) microneedling device, used in both dermatological procedures and aesthetic treatments across the world.
AGNES RF was carefully developed over two decades by Dr. Gun Young Ahn, with the intention of being used as a permanent solution to acne. After successfully developing the device, Dr. Ahn discovered that AGNES RF has the unique ability to inject RF energy and could be used in a variety of ways.
Since that discovery, AGNES RF has been adopted by aesthetic practitioners across the world. Built on a foundation of safety and found to be incredibly versatile, AGNES RF will become a cornerstone of your aesthetic practice.
How AGNES RF Works
Agnes RF utilizes Radio Frequency (RF) energy for tissue coagulation and electrothermolysis. Micro-insulated needles penetrate the skin at specific points, distributing radiofrequency energy at precise temperatures to generate a tissue response without damaging the epidermis. This makes microneedling with AGNES RF simple, precise, and effective.
What is Agnes SRF?
Originally developed by Dr. Ahn as a cure for acne. AGNES RF is a precision microneedling device that is currently being used off-label by physicians all over the world for a myriad of conditions including: lower eyelid rejuvenation, submental reduction, jawline sculpting, earlobe repair and many others.
AGNES Precision RF is a unique nonsurgical radiofrequency device that can sculpt the face, and deliver firmer, tighter, more youthful-looking skin. AGNES RF stimulates the production of collagen and elastin providing long-lasting and unmatched results.
How long does an Agnes RF treatment take?
Most treatments take anywhere from 15-30 minutes. For example, submental treatment could take about 20 minutes.
What should I expect during treatment?
There is minimal discomfort during the treatment and the patient should feel a light warm pressure. There may be redness and/or hot flashes on treated areas for a short period after the treatment.
How many treatments are required?
Your patients can see improvement after one treatment, but a series of one to three treatments may be needed to achieve optimum results. The effects of each treatment will continue to improve over the coming months.
What is the recovery time?
As soon as your treatment is complete you should be free to resume your normal daily activities. There is minimal to no downtime with an Agnes RF treatment. You should feel little to no discomfort during the treatment.
Is Agnes RF safe for all skin types?
AGNES is a radiofrequency microneedling device for any type of skin color. The Agnes has nine different types of the microneedle, and each type has the different insulation to use the procedure as safely as possible. Further, the output radiofrequency energy from Agnes is NOT like other traditional sine waveforms which can affect thermal damage to the soft tissue by the residual tale heat, but the square waveform of radiofrequency energy by Agnes can save the surrounding tissues from the residual tale heat like fast start and quick stop. Although Agnes RF treatment is safer in patients of skin color compared to the laser devices, any significant heat can result in increased risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or any adverse events at any time.
What is the difference between Agnes RF and other RF microneedling devices?
Agnes Precision RF is unlike any other RF Microneedling device in the market. The specificity of energy utilization achieves reactions in tissue that simply cannot be done with any multipolar needle configuration. Further, Agnes RF is the only RF device utilizing a single pin or three pin needle as an application electrode. These needles are partially insulated to protect the epidermis or other tissues from thermal burns.
